How to say Goodbye to blackheads

00:18:00

When I was a kid I used to think that blackheads stand for dirty skin. Then I always rub the skin with facewash with the hope to get rid of blackheads. But as the time passes I understand blackheads form when the oil in clogged pores interacts with the air. Blackheads occur mostly on and around the nose at the center of the face where they are most noticeable. I personally have most disliking for blackheads.

Blackheads are normal beauty issue for girls; if you are wondering how to get rid of occasional blackheads I have come up with some remedies from my dermatologist friend to get rid of those annoying blackheads.
1.     Take preventive steps at home
Baking Soda has antiseptic quality which makes it a wonderful way for getting rid of blackheads.
How you can go about with this: In bowl take some water and mix a tablespoon of baking soda. Apply it on the blackheads and let it dry for 10-15 minutes.  Rinse with lukewarm water.
Cinnamon is an anti-bacterial spice which is used to make aromatic face mask for removal of blackheads.
Mix one part of organic cinnamon with two one table spoon of honey to make a paste. Apply it on the blackheads and let it dry for 10-15 minutes.  Rinse with lukewarm water.
Oatmeal one of my favorite homely face pack. It has excellent quality in soothing irritation, removing dead skin cells and in soaking excess oil from the skin. Mix some good quantity of oats in water. Cook the mixture until it becomes a paste. Apply the paste on the face.  Let it dry for 15-20 minutes.  Rinse with lukewarm water. It will not only help in preventing blackheads also works as a face pack.
Green Tea is full of anti-oxitants and vitamins which help to reduce the excess oil and reduce inflammation of acne-prone skin.
Boil some water in a bowl and put at least 2 bags of green tea.  Let it cool until lukewarm. Dab liquid on to blackheads and let it dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.
Turmeric has awesome qualities of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. I know you must be wondering that the yellow colour will stain the skin, so try Kasturi turmeric – a non-edible variety – is non-staining.
Mix one teaspoon of turmeric in water or coconut oil to form a paste. Apply the paste on the blackheads and let it dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.
2.     Take preventive steps at beauty point
Since I mostly occupied with shows and events some weekends are so tied up that I prefer to visit saloon for preventing blackheads also comes with the highest price tag. I take a professional facial every other week , which gives me a clear complexion and blackhead free skin.

You can also try exfoliation. These exfoliation cleansers or face scrubs are very useful to cut through grease, oil, and dead skin cells. Exfoliate at least once or twice a week to keep blackheads away.

What you should not do…

I have seen girls squeezing the nose to pull out the blackheads but this is the worst thing you can do to your skin. Squeezing blackheads yourself can cause inflammation, infection, and even scarring.

Hope that this helps!
